Logo
Please carefully follow all guidelines when using any of the Girl
Scout service mark or logos. It is very important that the logos not
be modified in any way. The Girl Scout trefoil trademark should not
be separated from the words "Girl Scouts" and "Where Girls Go Strong."
When printed, logos should appear in black or Girl Scout green or
blue. Anytime you are using the Girl Scout logo, be sure to closely
follow the Graphic Guidelines in
Everything You Wanted to Know About Communications.
Using the Girl Scout
Logo
The Girl Scout Logo must include the "Where Girl Grow
Strong" tag line. The logo can be accessed below, or obained
through Amber Kolasz, Leader Resources Coordinator at the Council
office. Please note that you must not separate the tagline "Where
Girls Grow Strong" from the logo. You may right click on the
logo and choose "save as" to access it:
Items for which no formal approval is necessary for logo Usage:
Although approval for the following is not required, troops do still
need to be sure that they follow the Graphic Guidelines when
producing items with the logos:

Girl Scout members and volunteers only (i.e., troop t-shirts,
service unit flyers, etc.).
Items which require Service Unit "Troop
Program Support Manager" approval:
- an individual Girl Scout project
- a Girl Scout troop/group/activity, including newsletters, announcements,
web sites
- a Girl Scout service unit, neighborhood event, project and/or
newsletters, announcements, web sites, etc.
- all flyers that will be distributed to the public, (i.e., recruitment
& service unit event flyers)
Items which require approval by GSSCC's
Communications Director:
- Any Girl Scout flyers or information used to solicit the local
media newspapers
- Any flyers or information sent to radio, TV or the San Jose
Mercury or Chronicle
If you have any questions about logo use, and
