Welcome! Below are Girl Scout and Girl Scout related logos, graphics or clip art that you can use for your flyer, website, or other publications. Be sure to follow the Graphic Guidelines standards located in the Girl Scout Everything You Wanted to Know About Communications when producing communication pieces such as flyers.

Logo

Please carefully follow all guidelines when using any of the Girl Scout service mark or logos. It is very important that the logos not be modified in any way. The Girl Scout trefoil trademark should not be separated from the words "Girl Scouts" and "Where Girls Go Strong." When printed, logos should appear in black or Girl Scout green or blue. Anytime you are using the Girl Scout logo, be sure to closely follow the Graphic Guidelines in Everything You Wanted to Know About Communications.

Using the Girl Scout Logo
The Girl Scout Logo must include the "Where Girl Grow Strong" tag line. The logo can be accessed below, or obained through Amber Kolasz, Leader Resources Coordinator at the Council office. Please note that you must not separate the tagline "Where Girls Grow Strong" from the logo. You may right click on the logo and choose "save as" to access it:

Items for which no formal approval is necessary for logo Usage:

Although approval for the following is not required, troops do still need to be sure that they follow the Graphic Guidelines when producing items with the logos:

  • items that will not be sold, and are distributed to registered Girl Scout members and volunteers only (i.e., troop t-shirts, service unit flyers, etc.).

Items which require Service Unit "Troop Program Support Manager" approval:

  • an individual Girl Scout project
  • a Girl Scout troop/group/activity, including newsletters, announcements, web sites
  • a Girl Scout service unit, neighborhood event, project and/or newsletters, announcements, web sites, etc.
  • all flyers that will be distributed to the public, (i.e., recruitment & service unit event flyers)

Items which require approval by GSSCC's Communications Director:

  • Any Girl Scout flyers or information used to solicit the local media newspapers
  • Any flyers or information sent to radio, TV or the San Jose Mercury or Chronicle
