Girl Scouts of Northern California
properties offer unique settings where your troop or group can experience
a wide variety of outdoor adventures.
GSNC owns and operates two Resident
Camps, located in the Santa Cruz Mountain areas, near Pescadero
and Soquel. Weather permitting, these facilities are available for
troop use year-round, except during the summer months.
There are also two Program Centers with facilities available for
troop use year-round, except during the summer months.. Lou
Henry Hoover is located in Palo Alto, and Rainbow's
End is located in the Berryessa area of San Jose.
New Reservation Timeline (Revised May 2007)
In preparation for the realignment, the following revised property
reservation procedures will be used by all current Councils within
the Girl Scouts of Northern California jurisdiction.
1. The reservation deadline schedule will be month-to-month.
- Service Units may reserve any site within the new jurisdiction
9 months in advance.
- Troops may reserve any site within the new jurisdiction 6 months
in advance.
- Private parties may reserve any site within the new jurisdiction
5 months in advance.

2. All Council groups/troops will be charged the In-Council rental
rate for the Council from which they are renting.
3. Until new Council-wide policies and forms are established, Council
groups/troops will have to use the rental forms and follow the rental
policies for each current Council from which they wish to rent.
4. Service Units and troops will not be required to provide proof
of insurance to use another Council property.
5. Councils will continue to honor ongoing Program Center usage
by troops for the school year, until further notice. Procedures
to reserve these sites remain the same.
6. To reserve a property, contact the individual Council directly.
How to Make a Reservation
- Obtain a copy of the reservation form. Click

Reservation Form. You may also obtain reservation froms from
a Leader Support Manager or contact the Council office.
- Return completed reservation forms to the office.
- Receive confirmation, site and billing information
by mail after the Council office has received and processed your
signed forms.
Please note that we only take property reservation requests from
forms submitted following the above procedures. We are unable to
answer phone inquiries regarding date availability. For all other

Property Reservations are on the Move
The reservation for Hidden Falls, Sky Lark Ranch, Rainbow Ends and Lou Henry Hoover will now be based at the Oakland Office. Maickol Guillen will be your reservation clerk for all Council sites. To reach him call (510) 562-8470 ext 112. The reservation process and rates for Hidden Falls, Sky Lark Ranch, Rainbow Ends and Lou Henry Hoover will remain the same. There a lot of great sites and building available for rent.
