Patch programs enrich
and supplement Council troop/group acitvities. These patches and
other fun patches are worn on the back of the uniform. Patch documents
include patch descriptions, requirements, resources and evaluations.

Adopt-A-Tree:
Increase your awareness of the importance of trees through involvement
in activities for the protection and enhancement of our environment
and planting trees for the future.
Agilent
Science: Agilent provides Agilent After School science kits
to support nonprofit, non-governmental organizations as a means
to excite and inspire the scientists and engineers of tomorrow in
communities where Agilent does business. Junior and Cadette Girl
Scouts in grades five through eight may earn the Agilent After School
Science Patch.
Note: Agilent After School Science kits are currently available
for troops in selected Service Units that have a local volunteer
Agilent Coordinator.

California
Missions: Learn about six Spanish Missions in California
and experience something of that life via foods, crafts, and music.

Children's
Discovery Museum: Discover more about yourself and the
world around you by utilizing the wide variety of hands-on exhibits
offered at Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose.

Cultural
Awareness: Examine various aspects of life that make up
a people's culture. Develop an understanding and appreciation for
cultural differences and recognize the similarities that bring us
together.

Energy Conservation: Learn what energy is, how the world
uses energy, the importance of conserving energy, and ways we can
practice conservation.

Homelessness
Awareness: Increase your awareness of the problems homeless
people face and discover how you can help out by getting involved
in a service project.

Lighthouse: Provide the opportunity for girls
to learn more about the role of Lighthouses in California history,
and the women who help make history. The program uses food, crafts
and music to illustrate the key aspects of the lighthouse life.

Lovely
Llama: Provide the opportunity for girls to increase awareness
of the breed and encourage interaction with the Llamas at Skylark
Ranch Girl Scout Camp. Through participation in this patch program,
girls will learn how to handle llamas, and how to be comfortable
around them.
On
Our Own: Learn about personal safety traveling to and from
school and in the event that an emergency happens when you are home
alone.
On Target: A troop program designed to help leaders provide
a balanced program for troop members by emphasizing each of the
five Worlds of Interest and The World of Girl Scouting.
Quakesafe: Learn about earthquakes and practice safety measures
needed to protect yourself and your family when one happens. Click

Rainbow of Service: Get involved with Girl Scout service
at all levels: individually, as a troop/group, with the Service
Unit, at the Council level, and in the community.
Summer Action Troop: An incentive to continue troop involvement
by providing suggestions for summer activities.
World of Friendship: Broaden your understanding of our membership
in the World Association and learn about sister Girl Scouts and
Girl Guides around the world.
