Application Process
- Review the job listings to find the camp(s) and position(s) best suited to your skills, experience and availability. Be sure to note the age requirements for each position.
- Complete the application:
FOR NEW STAFF APPLICANTS

(Note: application must be completed all at once, saving the application is not possible. If you prefer to work on the application in a format that allows you to save your work and come back to it, download the Word or pdf format).
- Download the Camp Staff Application (Word or PDF).
If you use this version, fill it out, save it and email, fax or mail it to our office.
FOR RETURNING STAFF APPLICANTS
- The Returning Camp Staff Application Online
(Note: application must be completed all at once, saving the application is not possible. If you prefer to work on the application in a format that allows you to save your work and come back to it, download the Word or pdf format).

- Interview: Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed by the Staff Recruiter and Camp Director. If you met the criteria and a position is available, you will be contacted regarding an interview. Interviews will be conducted either in person or by telephone, depending on location of the applicant.
- References: Girl Scouts Nor Cal requires the names and contact information for three references. This information is requested on the application form. Your references should be individuals who have knowledge of your qualifications for the position(s) for which you are applying. Do not list relatives. You may also choose to submit letters of recommendation and/or previous performance evaluations as references. After completing your interview, you must request that your references listed complete the Online Reference Form.
Staff members will be selected on the basis of their skills and experience related to the position(s) for which they are applying, their commitment and willingness to create a supportive environment for children, their ability to help deliver an overall quality camp experience and their sense of professionalism. It is also expected that all staff will support the beliefs and principals of the Girl Scout organization.
