How to Apply For a Job
To apply for summer camp employment, please:
- Click here to apply if this is your first time working for the Girl Scouts of Nothern California, and you did not previously work for Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County or Girl Scouts of San Francisco Bay.
- Click here to to re-apply if you have worked for Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County and/or the Girl Scouts of the San Francisco Bay summer camp programs in the past.
To Apply
To apply, download our camp staff application instructions, then choose one of these electronic download formats for the complete application:
- download the Camp Staff Application in Word. If you use the Word version, fill it out, save it, and then email it to camp@girlscoutsofscc.org (please put "Camp Staff Application-YOUR NAME" in the subject line). If you don't wish to email your application, please feel free to fax or mail it in to our office.
- download the Camp Staff Application in pdf, please feel free to fax or mail it in to our office.
- Complete the online Camp Staff Application and submit it online. Note that you cannot save the online application and come back to it later or you will lose what you have entered. Be sure you have the time to complete it all in one sitting. If you prefer to work on the application in a format that allows you to save your work and come back to it, download the Word format listed in the first bullet above.

To Re-Apply
If you have worked for the Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County and/or Girl Scouts of San Francisco Bay Area summer camp programs in the past, please use our special reapplication form. First, download our camp staff re-application instructions, then choose one of these electronic download formats for the complete re-application:

Additional Information
In addition to your application, you must give us the names of two references. You may also choose to submit letters of recommendation and/or previous performance evaluations as references. After completing your interview, you will be given an online reference form to have your references complete and return.
Once your application has been received, you will be contacted regarding an interview. Interviews will be conducted either in person or by telephone, depending on the location of the applicant. Staff members will be selected on the basis of their skills and experience related to the positions(s) for which they are applying, their commitment and willingness to create a supportive environment for children, their ability to help deliver an overall quality camp experience and their sense of professionalism.
