Camp Metro Day Camp

Sites & Facilities

Camp Metro day camp is located in Berryessa in the northeast area of Santa Clara County. The camp operates out of our newly renovated Rainbow's End Girl Scout Program Center located adjacent to Penitencia Creek Park. With state-of-the-art facilities, convenient freeway access and a beautiful park-like setting, this site makes and ideal location for a day camp.

Main Camp

In the center of the property is the main house. This modern, air-conditioned building offers program areas, a large deck ideal for outdoor meetings or buffets, restrooms and a complete kitchen. The summer camp office is also located here. Adjacent to the main house is a large grassy area for activities. Paved pathways meander throughout the site. A fire circle for campfires and outdoor cooking is located at the far end of the site and there are picnic tables located throughout the property.

The Pavillions

Located on the far side of the property, is the Art Pavilion. A large open-air structure that serves as the art center in the summer, but is ideal for a group gathering or meeting location during the school year. Nestled between the parking lot and the main house is the Activity Pavilion. Another open-air structure, complete with a small stage for theatrical performances and guest presentations.
