When to Register

Registration opens Feb. 1, 2012! Online registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Please note that many programs are not full on the first day of registration and we will continue to accept registrations after that date.

How to Register

Please choose one or more of the following:

A. Online Registration- Please click on the link to take you to the instructions and information page.

Girl Scouts of Northern California is introducing a new online registration system for camp this year! This method of registration is fast and easy, and it’s green! There are many benefits to using online registration like, up-to-date information on space available in programs (you’ll receive instant confirmation if space is available), waitlist opportunities for programs that might be full (which allows us to open up more spaces for campers!), and convenient payment options for your fees. We STRONGLY encourage everyone to use online registration.

B. Paper Registration-mail, fax or submit in person. Send completed registration form(s) and at least the required deposit of $100 for each program to:

Girl Scouts of Northern California
1310 South Bascom Ave
San Jose, CA 95128
ATTN: Camp Registration Department
Fax: (408) 287-8025
  • Important- Money or a credit card authorization submitted via a paper registration will be processed the day it is received. However, placement in the program is not guaranteed until a confirmation has been sent, even though payment was processed. If your registration is waitlisted, payment will still be processed. A full refund will be given if a camper is not confirmed in any program.

  • To register two campers for the same program, they must both meet the age requirements for that program. List them as Camper Buddies on each other's online or paper registration form. For paper registration, submit them together or mail them in the same envelope. Placement with a buddy is not guaranteed. A maximum of two names together will be accepted.
  • A current health exam by a Licensed Physician, Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner acting under the supervision of a Licensed Physician is required for attendance at resident camp.
  • An additional application and/or reference form is required for the Advanced Equestrian programs and Leadership programs (Lead On & all CIT/WIT levels).

Advanced Equestrian Programs

These programs are by application only. See the skill requirements on the horse page to make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the program. Applications will be reviewed by the Camp Director and Equestrian Director which may extend the usual period of time before campers are confirmed for the program. Contact the Girl Scout Council at happycamper@girlscoutsnorcal.org for more details.

Leadership (Lead On, All CIT / WIT Level) ProgramsCIT girls

Leadership programs are by application only. To apply, submit your camp registration form and additional leadership application form and reference form, either on-line or by mail or FAX. An interview may be required for all programs except Lead On! Only one of the C.I.T. or W.I.T. programs may be taken per summer. The Lead On! Program and any level of the C.I.T. program can be taken in the same summer.

We strongly encourage the use of the online application form versus the paper form. The online form provides many opportunities to create a leadership database in the council and ensures timely review of all applications.

Camper packets will contain dates, session, program, transportation information, suggested equipment list, health forms, insurance information and more.
